An overall desire to give back helps drive us here at Appluent! It is important our team feels like we are not only making an impact in our day-to-day jobs, but also in our local community. This is why we became a part of the Pledge 1% movement. 

“Pledge 1% is a global movement that encourages and empowers companies of all sizes and stages to donate 1% of their staff time, product, profit, and/or equity to ANY charity of their choosing.” 

Boxes of food and hygiene items were donated during to those impacted by COVID-19.

Over the past pandemic year, giving back has remained a core value for Appluent. So many have suffered in countless ways. We were able to maintain our footing, and we pride ourselves on helping those who need it most. As a team we were able to collect and donate needed items to local organizations. From canned goods to personal care products, our team stepped up to help others. 

Appluent has always looked for ways to give back and create a dedicated model of philanthropy. Pledge 1% has given us that opportunity and created a plan for all employees to commit to. Since becoming a part of this movement, Appluent has volunteered at organization’s like Philabundance, has sponsored and participated in community walks and 5K’s, and supported local families by providing gifts to children for the holidays. 

 

 

Philabundance’s goal is to “drive hunger from our communities today and end hunger for good.”  We have a great recap video showing the excitement our team brings when helping others.

Appluent is more than an implementer of digital transformation softwares, we are a community driven organization. We take pride in helping our community grow and supporting those in need. 

As a recent addition to Appluent myself, I was pleased to see this commitment. I am proud to work for an organization that takes philanthropy seriously and makes it a part of their core values and overall mission.
